Polluted Creek in Stillwaters!

This morning I drove down Beach Island Trace in the Fernbrook Sub. of Stillwaters and noticed that the creek flowing under the roadway was a milky chocolate color. I also observed this same creek yesterday and the color was more of a normal dark green color. I stopped and walked down to the creek. It had a strong stench of sewage and the milky chocolate appearance continued for the entire time I was there (at least 25 minutes). I collected a sample for future reference. This creek flows directly into Lake Martin. I am posting this to see if anyone is familiar with this situation and where the pollution is coming from. This is obviously coming from a rather large source considering the color and duration of the polluted water.

Stillwaters has their own sewage system for some of the units I think. Might try to follow upstream. Contact Lake Watch.
