Hey does anybody out there target Crappie this time of year? If so have you any tips... I've always chased Bass or Blues but I was thinking about gving them a try - I've built a few "trees" out of an old hardwood floor (the planks) and sakrete mix and I was wondering what do you guys look for when sinking brush piles ( what kind of bottom )
Also I was swimming around in front of my pier placing a few of the shorter of my hardwood floor trees and I find of all things an old Toilet! There was an old nylon line tied to it with a cinder block attached? I guess someone used it to weight down a trotline or something... I left it there since A) I didnt want to touch it B) It's probably a Catfish condo by now.
see ya K.
