I noticed that there is a Best Western with boating docks at Lake Guntersville. I wish Russell or someone would put some sort of overnight facility at Martin. I have to drive 2 hrs to the lake. I would definitely be interested in overnight stays to make my trip a 2-day event instead of one day, or either 2 round trips. Is there any place in Eclectic? Alex City is the other end of the lake for me, but I guess that may be an option as well.

Chuck's Marina has a couple of small cabins but they are usually booked well in advance. Has wet/dry storage also, which might solve your prior problem. Does Stillwaters rent by the weekend?
