The East Alabama Food Bank (EAFB) is a non-profit organization in Auburn that supplies food to smaller organizations in the surrounding 6 counties.  Many local grocery stores, bakeries, and drug stores help us by donating their excess products.  We, in turn, deliver it to local food pantries and smaller distribution locations.  A new project is our Backpack Program, where small bags are put into children's backpacks on Friday to insure they have adequate food over the weekend.  We also have brown-bag programs for seniors.  EAFB depends entirely upon gifts of food and money to resource our programs.
