I wish I had a recommendation for you, and this is against my style, but I all I can caution you about is a nightmare experience with Old Southern Roofing.  Of course this is based on my own personal experience and does not necessarily represent the feelings of anyone else.  I'll leave it at that, but encourage you to check opinions and get referrals (not from the roofer) before hiring anyone.  Good luck.  Hopefully some good names will come out of this post and I can write them down as well for my future reference.

I would try Angie's List. I used for a painter in Birmingham and was very successful. Read reviews carefully because some are very self serving.

Roofs R Us Alabama- they advertise on this site- they are local and have a local office which is a must when doing business with a roofer!  You can find them again!!- their number is:  334-759-0448-
