17,424,000,000 (yes, 17+ billion) cu. ft. x 7.48 gal/cu.ft. =

Roswellric gave it a good try but actually the number of gallons would be much less. One would need some calculus and a function that descibes the change rate in the surface area of the lake as a function of the water level.
The lake would be a lot less than 40,000 acres at, say, the 480' level.
However, it would be (technical term here) a whole lot of H2O!!!
