For all interested, I ran a few numbers today on residential waterfront sales in the MLS for 1-1-08 through 3-31-08.
While the rise in water level didn't happen quick enough to help the first quarter, hopefully March's momentum will continue...

Sales appear to be less that 50% of 07' numbers--tough times to say the least. Of those meager numbers do the sales appear to be coming from any certain area of the lake?
The Alex City Outlook had an excellent editorial about Relicensing in the paper today. 'Dis ain't no mill village no mo'. It's time for everyone to realize the importance of Lake Martin to the entire economy of the area.
Realtors, city politicians, businesses, ...everyone needs to get on board this train and get it moving.
