They usually charge by the inch.....make sure a woman does the measuring.

I think it depends on diameter of the stump, type of stump (pine, oak sweet gum...), level of removal (at or below surface of the ground), and to what degree you want your site restored to not look like a bomb blew it up.

Call Floyd's in Dadeville they have a person on their Tree removal crew that grinds stump and several years ago he was very reasonable.
