I am looking for a location to store my pontoon. I currently have it on the Tennessee River but I grew up on Smith LAke and would really like to get back down there.
If it is a wet slip, I would prefer year round water but if it is dry storage it probably wouldn't matter.
I would be coming from Huntsville, Alabama.
Can recommendations be shared on this forum?

BTW: This is my first post on this forum.

Thanks

As recomended many times before, I would say That Duskin Point Marina on the Jasper side of the lake is where you would want to store it. The marina is fast and easy to work w/ and will bend over backwards for you. Also, they've recently added a new building w/ a capacity of 600 boat storage i do believe.

I would try Ryan Creek Boating center before duskin point. Ryan creek has easier access to the water, bathroom facilities that are clean and convenient and you dont have to climb to the top of a mountain to get to the offices. Ryan creek is about twenty minutes off of I 65 and much easier to get to from Birmingham or Huntsville than Duskin Point.
Another added convenience to ryan creek is they have a bar-b-que stand that serves delicious bar-b-que, hamburgers, and hotdogs.
I live in Birmingham and have used both marinas to launch and by far Ryan Creek is the best marina, and has great boat storage facilities.

I think Duskin & Ryan Creek are both great places.  Their locations on the lake are miles and miles apart.  So I'd just guess that it would all depend on which part of the lake you'd be frequenting the most.  Make your choice between the two (or another) based on that.
