Subject:   Sandy Creek Gator?

I met a lady last weekend who told me a story of a gator.  She was on a wave runner in Sandy Creek and stopped for an older couple waving her down.  She thought they might have been having trouble with their boat but they were trying to warn her of the alligator sunning itself on the shore.  She said she didn't travel further up the creek so I don't really have an eye witness....  can this be true?  YES....this was a sighting in the creek...  NOT in big water.  but still... he/ she might be there...  The spot was in the creek (in this area) that flows under the bridge with the crazy curve... old suzanna/ mulligan loop area.  Anyone seen a gator/ signs of one?

Yes, They keep a 4' rubber gator there to spook the geese. LOL

Does it keep the geese away?  If so, stock in the company may be in order. lol.

That location would be the bridge over Buck Creek on Mullican Road.  Gators are not the only source of concern in this area.  There have been reports of banjo music further down into Sandy Creek.

...da da dum dum dum....would imagine that a gator story would be an effective way to maintain privacy up that creek...just sayin'...but still not discounting anything ...

Watch out for the moonshiners. You can detect the odor in the woods as you approach their still. Read this month's "Lake Martin Living" (The Parker Creek Cronicles).

He puts on his Gator Suit and lays out on the bank to frighten children and old ladies all the time. LNG caught him last week in his Gator Suit trying to snatch some fresh tomatoes. Got a good pix but attaching is too much for me.
