I don't know how many people here read the Alex City Outlook, but Mamma Ella passed away this week. I guess the restaurant is closed indefinitely because the family is not certain if the restaurant can reopen. Judging by the number of people that seemed to lunch there every day, Mamma Ella and her restaurant will be missed.
