Did anyone notice that APC asked that the winter water levels be three feet higher than normal at just about every lake execpt Smith Lake? I will admit they did a better job this year with winter water levels but it could be better.

LOL.

We sure could use another 3' in the lake. Good thing it wasn't much higher than it was when all that rain came last month or you'd be giving that flood insurance a workout eh? :)

Happy New Year Loco!

Happy New Year to you too Bill, but 3ft we would still be below full pool and along way from 522.

No one knows why APC does anything. In the history of the lake it has never once reached flood stage, but every time you get a little rain or if it's in the forecast APC cranks up the pumps. Some people think they do a good job at managing the lake but like you most of us don't understand why they keep the lake so low even when they admit we may see another drought.

Blah, blah, blah..... Lake levels, lake levels, lake levels.... Now let's see what you guys want this year: 522? Really? You guys talk about all the erosion thats caused by the lake levels dropping, what do you think would happen to your land if they allowed the levels to go to 522 every year? You guys would complain if your wives looked like centerfold models!

Even someone with your limited knowledge should know the lake has never reached that level the least you could do is keep your post real. Oh I forget you have limited knowledge. Maybe your wife could help you with your comments.

Yes, I have such a limited knowledge of this subject matter, but I'm still thankful to have the opportunity of living on such a beautiful lake... I guess I look at the positives in life, while you guys look at all the negatives... I hear it's going to get up to 519 by Saturday.... Are you guys throwing a party? Am I invited?

Ivan they changed their estimate to 516. With this level there really is no reason for a party. But if we decide to have a get together you are invited. It's always good to have a different opinion.
