here anywhere around the lake that let you ride a dirt bike (trail riding). I would like to ride but dont want to get run off by angry property owners.... Thanks

Monster Mountain in Tallassee has a killer moto track, they also have a great Hare scramble set of trails as well. I used to ride all the time, but it got to be tough to find places to go. Jeff

there are no 'public' motocross areas around the lake, alot of people think you are able to ride in the area of the gold mine road , but it is all either state ,or privately owned, getting caught illegally on these propertys start with a $600 trespassing fine , among other charges, depending on the circumstances, and whether it is the game warden , deputy , or land owner that catches you .
best bet is to join a hunting club , that allows off season trail riding, good luck.
