I am interested in covering my existing boat slip and adding a lift. Winter storage for my pontoon is getting expensive and I am looking for an alternative. If you have used one of the 3 dock construction companies (I could only find 3 in the area), could you post your experiences? Positive and negative please. Thanks.

I have used Lake Martin Dock Company. They were not the least expensive, but their finished products were by far the most impressive. They just did another boat lift for me 3 weeks ago and again they were professional in every aspect of the project and could not have done a better job.

I would recommend Donald Shultz with Deep Water Services. He built my double slip boat house, floating dock, two boat lifts at my previous lake house. This summer he Installed a new low profile lift and refurbished my floating dock at my current lake house. Reasonably priced; never had a problem with the timeliness or quality of his work.
