I just heard a boat hit something in the water. With the lake flooding, the debris field will be heading to the dam. Take care.

Where do you live, Dave, because I saw a large pile of debris just south of Lakeside late this afternoon.

I live 1.5 miles from Logan Martin Dam. For people new to the lake and maybe not familiar with the lake, when the lake floods, everything on the shoreline that is not secured, ends up floating down river. All things don't float on the surface, big logs can be submerged just under the surface that can't be seen. I've seen and helped a few boaters that have hit things under water that disable the boat.

That being said, I'm hoping the level stays up but betting it won't.

Saw something earlier that it would be at normal on Monday. They did not say what "normal" means but probably will be around 461 or 462.
