Now that its nearing summer time again, I want to recommend TMP for any work you may need done.  I know from experience that you should always make sure that anyone who does work in your home has workmans comp as if not and someone is hurt while on your property it could result in a lawsuit against you and your property.

Also:

1. Make sure that the contractor is certified in the trade that they do work in.

2. Make sure that they are bonded.

3. Make sure that they are insured (they could burn your home down while working on it).

4. Have work inspected by  qualified agency or person (for code compliance).

5. Make sure that proper materials are used to insure greater reliability and longer life of product.

6. Don't settle for the cheapest price, ...you'l get what you pay for.

Great advice. Don't believe you'll see a bond though. Too expensive for small jobs.
