Finally he is trying to do something about the spending. Now cue the TDS crowd that was whining about the deficit spending to creat ads showing Trump pushing Grandma in a wheelchair off a cliff. So predictable it is almost boring. Having said that, all Trump can do is propose a budget. The actual purse strings lie in Congress and does anyone think the Democrat-controlled House will vote for a sane budget?

A good place to start although most of them will simply relocate to other murky areas of the swamp.

The majority will be political appointees and normally they will be gone by now. Some of this is Trump's fault. Normally the first year of an administration is getting it's confirmation positions filled. He didn't make it a prority and the jobs were either left vacant or the Obama people just stayed on. There are probably some schedule C's too. He can't just up and fire career people.

Well... that is "reality" TV and it's a game..... sort of. Maybe not to Trump. Right now I have some Trump fatigue. It started with his victory speech last week.... I have no doubt that he wanted "Hail to the Chief" played, even though it was quite heavy handed.

We warned the left how he would react when he was acquitted. Part of it is his being a showman and knowing his audience. But I also think part of it is his firm belief he did nothing wrong and certainly nothing impeachable. If you look at it from his perspective he has been under unprecedented attack from Democrats, the media and NeverTrump types since day one. We should cut him some slack for wanting to take a victory lap. Unfortunately he does so in his usual Trumpian fashion which is unlike what "normal" politicians would do.....which is one reason he was elected. People are tired of "normal" politicians and their inability to get things done that actually benefit the country as opposed to themselves and all their relatives.

I'm more than willing to give him credit for everything he has accomplished. I just wish he could take his victory lap with a little more fineness. He needs to move on from this, because Nancy is plotting her next attack.
