Since it was sold at auction, the new owners plan to rename the marina eBay Pines Marina.

I can guess about a few changes! :) I just feel that since property owners in the area have bought it - then the property value in that area will be a concern with whatever changes take place. That makes me glad.

The marina sold at auction last thursday. Sale price was $200,000.

p.s. and don't take this wrong, but the name "e-bay marina" while sentimental to you folks isn't that great a choice to me. I'm glad that the neighborhood found a way to take this over. Good Luck and all the best!!!!

House Boats will have to go. Planning on redoing the sea wall where they are and new docks with better tie downs. Alabama Power wants the campers gone. Said they wouldn't renew the lease under the conditions that is currently in place. We plan on Cleaning the whole place up and put in a septic system that will accomidate more than what is currently in place. We want to do what is best for the community not just out to make a quick buck. We want a clean and reputable business that does not threaten our treasured waters. We hope to have the support of the community and would like any suggestions to help make our part of the lake better.

I've been through the process of revamping a rundown marina and been through the approval process with all 17 agencies, ADEM, APCO and FERC. If you need any help, please give me a call. Been here, done that.
