Rocky Blackburn put vinyl siding and a metal roof on our place. He does a phenominal job and is a super guy to work with. 256-825-5481

We got tired of waiting for people who never showed up. We called Home Depot in Opelika. They roofed our place, painted, and built a new deck. Their price was competitive. Best of all they did all the work is a week, cleaned up, and gave us a warranty. Good chance Home Depot will be around if we have problems later.

All I can tell you is DO NOT, under ANY circumstances, EVER, use Kenny Deason, Old Southern Roofing (the only one listed in the Dadeville yellow pages at the time we needed a roof). We paid him over $3,000 to remove and replace a roof. Not only did he not take off the old roof, he left the rotten decking underneath and, after his "work" the water poured through as if from a spigot. We ended up getting Hinkle out of Birmingham, because a) I didn't know about this forum at the time (!) and b) we'd been so badly home-cooked, we were just afraid. I wish you luck. We now have $7,000 in a roof on a cabin that's worth less than $50k! But at least I can sit on my porch and read my book when it rains...
