Does anyone have any insight to the condition of the Anchor Bay ramp? Is it still usable for a 20ft'er?

I got my 24' out about 10 days ago there. Of course, the water is down 1+ foot more since then, but it wasn't a problem at that time.

My wife and I had dinner at Suzie Q's (great fried catfish as usual) Friday night. The end of the ramp was about three inches OUT OF THE WATER with about a foot drop off at the end of the ramp. The end of the ramp is about 477 msl for future reference.

Wish I had thought of Suzie Q’s Friday night. We went to Sinclair’s which has very ordinary food. Two questions, how was the crowd? Do they serve something beside fried fish. I love fried catfish, but not my wife. Hope they have a grilled thing or two.

Yes, she has other choices, but my experience in most cases is don't order steak at catfish restaurants and don't order catfish at steak restaurants if you know what I mean. As for the crowd; it is that time of the year when out local merchants, especially home-owned ones, need all the support we can give them to get through the winter.

Ooooops. Change "out" to "our" - I should have read it again before clicking Post Message. It is difficult to get good typing support - especially when you do your own!!!

Thanks for the info. I didn't mean steak. I agree with you completely about ordering steak from a catfish place. Just the fried issue. My wife won't eat fried. I was hoping they had a grilled catfish on the menu. And, they will be getting some of my business soon to compare their catfish with Truman's on Hwy 9.

Truman's is good also, but we enjoy sitting outside and listening to the entertainment at Suzie's. I hope you enjoy.
