The  party of high morals and ethical behavior talks a good game but cannot deliver. 

"(Reuters) - The businessman at the heart of a corruption trial involving former Virginia Governor Robert McDonnell and his wife, Maureen, testified on Wednesday he helped them out with gifts and loans strictly for the benefit of his dietary supplement company.

"This was a business relationship," Jonnie Williams, a key prosecution witness told a packed federal courtroom in Richmond, Virginia.

Williams said he took Maureen McDonnell on a $20,000 New York shopping spree, lent the couple large amounts of money, and paid for the wedding reception of one of their daughters in exchange for the couple using their personal and political prestige to advance his company."

Geez GF, I think you have posted about McDonnel about ten times.  He was indicted and will have his day in court.  If convicted he should pay for his misdeeds.  If he is aquiited the good news is we will not have to see you post about it the 11th time......maybe.  I have seen literally five of six new corrupt Dem stories since this one came out that I have not bothered to post.  If I posted them all I would have to give up my day job.

Must be a real proud moment to admit that your party lacks any standards or morals so we should not be surprised when scandals/corruption/bribery/sexual deviancy are numerous.  Wow.......as for me I will gladly be associated with the party that does have standards and expects moral conduct with occasional failures to one where that type of behavior is the norm.  Granted, you can't be called a hypocrite if you are a Democrat when it comes to those kinds of issues because you have no standards upon which to compare the behavior to in the first place.  You save your hypocrisy for things like guns, generating CO2, etc.  You know, these sacrifices are for the little people, not the elitists.....
