During Secretary of State Hillary (I can't recall) Clinton's tenure, the State Department literally "lost" 6 billion dollars, according to the Inspector General.

Jobs was NOT with Apple from 1985 till August 1997. Apple lost the money. Jobs had nothing to do with it.
"In 1997, with the company operating at a loss and Microsoft's Windows 95 flying off the shelves, Apple's board decided that a zealot was just what it needed."
In August of that year, Jobs rejoined the board becoming CEO. He was brought back to FIX the problems.

and if I recall, there was 20 million in "petty cash" that could't be accounted for, that was spent in Afghanistan. Your tax dollars at work.
