A young black male-lab or lab-mix mix dog has shown up at our house here on the lake, in the Barron's Bridge area.  He appears to be in the 6-9 month range and is quite skittish and also very thin and has no collar on.  He is also very hungry as I just put out a large amount of food on our porch which he devoured in no time.  I suspect he was dropped off by his so-called "owner" but just in case he is simply lost, I am posting this message.

If he belongs to anyone reading this message, please email me and I can give you the particulars as to where he can be found. Thank you.

No doubt in my mind that someone has dropped him off, to become someone else's problem.  If you decide you can't keep him, please don't just turn him out, but take him to the Lake Martin Shelter to be adopted. They do wonders in finding new homes.
