Thanks APCO for lowering the water right before my long weekend on the lake. You just made it impossible for me to launch my boat.

They announced last night on the WSFA news that the lake would be dropping continuously over the Labor Day weekend and for people on the lake to be careful and be aware that many boat ramps may be unusable.

No kidding.

You can still launch, just go to one that still has water...

Apco managed to keep the lake levels relatively stable during the recent record heat wave, when evaporation and demand for electricity would both be higher, and now, when temps are closer to normal, and we have had some rain, the lake is falling steadily. Go figure.
