I have a copy of the Lake Martin Book. Other books that I have found are:
Tallapoosa County - A History published by the Bicentennial Committee in 1976 - Copies of this book are available on E-Bay.
Alexander City Centennial - Published in 1974 - Found that one in my mother's attic.
The Battle of Cholocco Litabixee - Published when Billy Radney was mayor - again found in the attic.
The Coming of the Railroad - By Robert Crew Smith - Published 2000
Life of a Country Doctor by Dr, James Cameron (the Dr who delivered me and saved my life with what was then revolutionary surgery on a four-week old) Published in 1988.
Horse and Buggy Days on Hatchet Creek bu Mitchell Garrett - Originally published 1957.
There are probably more out there - I also have a video put out by Alexander City during one of the centennial celebrations.
