The State of Alabama does not require identification to vote. You are required to have the last 4 digits of your social security number and a Drivers license.
I bring this up because I recently ran a credit check on someone. They had Three social Security numbers and the spouse had two. I took it further and ran a ss trace. The nam presented a SS that belonged to a young female in Texas. I explained why their application had been denied. Their answer was "Can I bring you another one?"
I have brought this to the attention of the committee of elections in the legislature of Alabama as well as the Attorney General Office and the Department of Justice-voters fraud dept.
The city of Hoover had a bust a few years back. There was an employee that was giving out real drivers license to people that gave him $1000 under the table. This is a big problem.

You lost me. It looks like they do require ID in the form of last 4 digits of SS and Drivers license. Did you mean THEY DO??????
Pathetic how some play around with fake SS and Drivers license numbers. Good for you for reporting it. They deserve jail time.

They require the ID and last four of your social to register. They require nothing to vote. So... If you have a fake ID and a stolen SS # you can vote. The people in front of me could vote 5 times between the two of them. That was my point. You must have a system that requires a picture ID. This will come up for vote in Feb. It has been voted down at least once or twice. Call your representative!

My aunt is the "offical" poll worker for the District I vote in and she makes me show my ID ( yep, even though she has known me since birth!!)- I think it is more the poll workers and we all know the problems that can cause!!!

Well I just got off the phone with the Department of Justice State Attorney and the Attorney Generals Office for the State of Alabama. They have a bill that will be coming forward pertaining to the SS theft/voter fraud/drivers license that some illegal aliens have been able to purchase/produce etc.
It has gotten out of control. I did not realize that it is not required by our state to produce a photo ID. I just have always taken mine.
Gerald Allen a state Legislative rep. is the one who is producing a bill for voter ID. another representative was a Mr. Jimmy Martin. They are not from my district, but I think Mr. Allen is from Tuscaloosa and Mr. Martin is from Chilton/Shelby county.
