Just starting my research, how is the Starcraft pontoon boat? Looking at the SLS 3.  Thanks.

We have the xe3 22 ft with 200 yamaha.  I love the boat.  Black on white/grey interior.  Digital depth finder sucks, think the transducer needs to be moved down.  Ski locker sweats like a sauna in summer but easy fix with vents in lid. Wife says black rails get real hot in summer, but doesn't bother me.  Tritoon bought from Mitchell's Marine in LsGrange Ga.  Great warranty.  Went from Suncatcher 22 with a 115.  Loved that boat but wanted more hp.

Whatever you get, spend the money and have individual seat covers made.!!you will be very glad you did!

What do you mean by "individual seat covers"?  I've never seen that option on a new boat.

We have a full cover that came with boat but also had a cover for each seat made.  Utilize same snaps on rail as main full cover but added snaps at base of each seat (not on floor) to keep snug.  Kinda like a chair or couch cover.  If just one or two people ride, just take cover off the seats u need.  Ours work great.

Bennington is a terrific boat but Lakeside Marina's service sucks.

Benningtons are superb boats.  Bought a new one in 2007 with a 150 Yamaha and sold it in 2017 when we bought a new Bennington with a 250 HP Yamaha SHO. The 2007 looked almost like new when we sold it and the 2nd owner enjoys it still. We bought both boats from Brech Marine in Selma.  They are great on sales and service.  They come to Lake Martin to service it each fall after we haul out for the winter. I wholeheartedly recommend Brech, which is a family owned business.  As a note, I have no connection to Brech, other than as a longtime satisfied customer.

We have a 2015 Bennington with a 150 Yamaha and have enjoyed it a bunch over the years.  If you don't want to deal with Lakeside Marina, Woods Surfside Marina over by Pell City also reps Bennington pontoons.

I'll join the recommendation to consider Brech - long time customer of theirs, solid folks. Shame that Ronnie passed away a bit ago, but his son Scott is still running the place and is doing things the right way still. Our next boat will be from them as well as is our current one.
