Last night driving home we were about to cross the dam and all of a sudden it sounded like it was raining........ we were driving thru a bug storm....... It was rediculous and made a mess of the car........ did this happen to anyone else?

Happened to me last year at same place - crossing the dam. It was about this time of year and shortly after dark as I recall. I have no idea what kind of bugs they were other than messy.

Hey Fr8t, google this lil bug ' Midge " they look like mosquitoes, but do not bite. They swarm around my front door all the time. They have been bad this year allready. Just before dusk you can hear a high pitch noise in the tree canopy, justa steady high pitch humm. the other day i had to turn thefans on, on the porch to try and encourage them to go elsewhere, seemed to have worked. I'm not griping about the bugs at all, it simply means its warm and I am so ready for this summmer.

Been so long since i posted I almost forgot how to sign in. Be seeing everyone around take care.
