But never fear there are a few land lubbers round here that come out to my island every couple of years and spruce things up for us ol retired Pirates. Stop on by and see the new digs. ARGH! But be careful, only those certain few are allowed to land here. But if ya throw beads and/or coins our way the pirate gods will guide you to a safe and happy time.

Back in the old days we used to run the lake and were armed with a large water balloon slingshot. We would come upon groups on the lake and demand they turn over their women and cigarettes. You can't do that anymore. Not politically corrrect. It's hard being a pirate...

FYI- No hard feelings, but if you were the same guys that shot me while I was climbing UP Chimney Rock back in the mid 90's (it really was an amazing shot btw). You probably never realized how very close you came to being the victim of Lake Martin's first 'float by' flare gun incident.

No. We never shot at anyone. Besides this was on Lake Lanier over 20 years ago.
