just checked the water level at Lake Allatoona which is where the Coosa River begins and where we get our water from.... They are almost a foot over full pool and all the Georgia lakes are holding onto their water.  Unless we get some of our own rain and can hold that water, we wll probably not make it up to full pool for quite a while...

Northern GA got rain two days last week but it never came low enough for us, I would think since the Feds have gotten involved due to the possible drought they would have to turn some losse if they are over full pool. My daughter lives in Mobile and they are getting rain today and looking at the weather map there is rain at Demopolis now

Let's see what happens with the little bit of rain we got today. Their past performance does not bode well for what they'll do. They've mis-managed the lake levels all year, and don't give common-sense, satisfactory, explanations when I ask. Also thanks to their mis-management, fish spawning habits are messed up in our cove. The garr are in the wrong place, and keeping the other fish from coming near shore. I hope 'fish & game' really get on their case.

We've now had 3 significant rains this week. The lake mismanagement group hasn't raised the water level at Logan Martin. I assume they'll say they're preparing for the floods. They seem to be set on doing the wrong thing regardless.

The gar in my area have apparently spawned, so now we have a bunch of carp apparently feasting on the eggs. Just what we need, more and bigger carp. Especially when they're where we're supposed to have bass. Thank you LM lake mismanagement group!
