Here is a link to the kayak club that gets all of our water. They are also having a big festival June 1-3 down there.

I'll give you one guess where their water comes from.  Logan Martin  So they will release the water for a few people to go canoeing and let hundreds in not thousands of people on the lake do without. Someone needs to find a snail darter or something that needs lots of water in our lake.

we need to tell an enviromental wacko what we saw one struggling on the shore and if the water would come up it would save his life......

This is a quote from Wakeboarders post from his conversation with Alabama Power.

The good news is that there will not be any releases this year because according to the FERC requirement if the water level is below one foot of rule curve on Logan Martin there will be no release. Alabama Power is in the process of notifying the Mayor of Wetumpka that the release will not take place this year.

Does this mean their word isn't worth sqwat ????

The way I read it,three lakes must be more than one foot below the rule, not just LML.

Another weekend of rain, and no change in LM water level. AP and the mismanagement have set the bar, and nothing apparently trumps illogic and lack of common sense. I suppose if you call them, they'll use the excuse of flooding. This after the drought, after the flood, after the drought, after the flood... Their misguided actions would be boring, except that they are more frustrating.
