The Amp on Lake Martin plans to make the call Thursday afternoon about the fireworks show, shifting it to Friday if necessary due to the weather. If they have to shift it from Thursday, they will not have the music to accompany the fireworks.

Friday isn't looking much better than Thursday right now.
I can't recall the fireworks ever being postponed. I recall rainy days that cleared up in time, and rain that moved in after the fireworks ( including that huge storm in, I believe, 1998.) but I don't recall the fireworks being pushed to another day.
