Every
nation which has allowed itself to descend greedily into economic and moral ruin
has eventually fallen prey to autocracy or dictatorship. There comes an eloquent “messiah” (e.g. a community
organizer) to fan the flames of nationalism (e.g. Der Nationalsozialistische
Deutsche Arbeiterpartei - NAZI). The
Leader (e.g. Der Fuhrer) focuses blame for the national dilemma ( e.g. high
unemployment; valueless currency) on someone else and the nation begins to
rationalize that it is (they are) owed compensation. This rationalization leads
to political chaos (e.g. present day Greece)… and often war (e.g. Japanese
invasion of Manchuria).
History
is screaming a warning at our Nation. But some do not understand the language
of history.

Including the man child president WOTUS. How else can you explain his willfullly following the same mistaken path as FDR giving us all the same results. That is the psychosis of the left and one that is repeated over and over.......to wit, the ideology is never the issue and the problem is they never had someone as brilliant and charismatic as me. Then when it fails, as it must and always will, they lash out and blame others. It's never them and never, ever their failed ideology that has never worked in all of history.
As for your main point, enjoy and deconstruct this quote from John Adams:
Property is surely a right of mankind as really as liberty. ... but the time would not be long before courage and enterprise would come, and pretexts be invented by degrees, ... in sharing it equally with its present possessors. Debts would be abolished first; taxes laid heavy on the rich, and not at all on the others; and at last a downright equal division of every thing be demanded, and voted. What would be the consequence of this? The idle, the vicious, the intemperate, would ... sell and spend all their share, and then demand a new division of those who purchased from them. ... anarchy and tyranny commence.
We are living it with the modern Democrat party and their leaders like TOTUS and Billary.....

The quote by John Adam could not be closer to witnessing what we are seeing happening in our government today. It is "amazing" the foresight our founding fathers had as they formed the government which has served our country well for 200 plus years. What is even more "amazing" is the decline we have seen in our country in the last four and a half years. Much of the decline has resulted from the breakdown in the family unit. I think another contributing factor is the deterioration of our educational system. It is a known fact that the faculty in our institutions of higher learning have taken on a predominant liberal view toward the education of our young students. Numerous surveys have shown that many of the younger generation of today have little understanding of the three branches of our governmental system and can be easily misled{or lied to} about what is best for the continuation of our democratic form of government. It is understandable how many of our citizens[for whatever the reason} do not possess the knowledge to know what is best for them as an individual and for the country as a whole, and can be easily manipulated. What is not understandable and is not excusable is that we have elected officials(who are supposed to be well educated), who are elected to represent the will of the people and the good of the country, but instead are more interested in their own well being and getting reelected. I don't see how any of our elected officials{democrats, republicans, or independents} can see anything good that has happened in our government in the last four and a half years. We(the United States) are no longer respected around the world. The reasons we find ourselves in this position are too numerous to try to enumerate.

That there is a threshold beyond which tyranny
cannot be tolerated, this concept being insured by the establishment of the 2nd
Amendment:
“Article the fourth [Amendment II] A well
regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right
of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
