Good morning Everyone! I am new to the forum and love fishing Lake Martin. I have been out here for about a year figuring out the ins and outs of where things are and events. I recently purchased a bass boat (tracker) and have really enjoyed tracking the fish. As far as fishing this weekend, I have found that some activity was still good around the lit docks. Some activity was at the mouths of creeks. Mostly green and spotted bass caught. Would love to catch some stripes but not much luck yet. I'll be checking the forum daily for advice. I am here mostly on the weekends. I just subscribed to Insight Genesis and have used their social map of the lake. You might have caught me doing grids around the upper end of the lake. Check it out as it is a valuable source. Seems like this forum is a good resource. Any advice on finding the stripes and what works best out here to get them will be appreciated! See ya'll out on the lake!

Welcome to Lake Martin and the forum! I read a bit on the social map for Insight Genisis. Does it have accurate depth maps for Lake Martin?

Welcome, Finding the fish on the finder is the key until the temp gets in the 60s. Then follow the bait fish to the schooling fish. Fun

For the most part, it appears pretty accurate when compared to my real time sonar. You can download the social map and upload to it for free. I went ahead and got the premium service so I could make composition and vegetation maps. It costs $99 year. Good YouTube tutorials under FAQ section. Check it out.
