They are getting into the shoals. They can be caught on a fly rod. Swing a large baitfish imitation through the main current and pay close attention to the seams.

FlyGuy, he means Irwin Shoals, up at the top of Lake Martin where the Tallapoosa River becomes Lake Martin. On a map it's at the end of Boone Valley Road, In Jacksons Gap. On my App you can find it by going Fun - > Boat - > Jaybird Landing.

We all do! Us fly rodders especially have to ban together to figure out the best way to target warm water species with the long rod. It's what makes it fun to me.
