Subject:	Charter/Spectrum Channel Missing

Last night I switched to Channel 13/WVTM NBC out of Birmingham.  Got message "Programming on this network is no longer available."  I've never seen this before.  Went through customer service sending 'corrective signals' etc.  Tech supposed to be here this morning.  Was wondering if anyone has this problem currently or has seen this in the past.

Will post what Tech finds later.

They are in a contract dispute. Both blame the other. The same is happening on the abc channel out of Montgomery on Dish. At some point they will settle.

Tech said his supervisor said Charter will no longer carry WVTM13 and that decision was made yesterday.  Charter national customer service has not been made aware of this decision!

WVTM13 has much better weather reporting than WSFA for our area even though we are not in the Birmingham market. IMHO
