A floating dock was loose in the middle of the lake, Real Island area after the Thursday 8/12/2021 evening storms. It's now secured to my dock at 1250 Hancel Road.

Folks, there is no excuse for a boat breaking free, a dock or anything else to be free floating in the lake. Secure your stuff correctly and you will not ever lose something. If this offends you, I don't care!

Everything that floats through the eastern part of Susanna Bay winds up at my dock. See it out by the bird nests and 3 days later it's mine all mine. Most of this stuff appears to have fallen off a work barge. We actually wound up with a new full length telephone pole a few years ago, but most is like this latest crap that floated up a couple of weeks ago. Obviously intentionally removed from its attachments (attaching hardware laying on top) and quite a hazard. We get about four big chunks of junk like this a year, usually a few days after we see a dock company barge motoring across the bay.....or...all the wake board boats etc. are just damaging docks that frequently, they certainly wreak havoc on mine.
