Ya, so I guess i'll say something.....
I'm usually a very patient and understanding guy, but I'm really frustrated with Vaughn right now. And I know i'm not the only one. He screwed up 5 times. I know he is better than that. Everyone has bad nights. Well, I'm sure he feels like $hit, but... there's always next week.
But, I'd have to say overall good performance by Auburn. But special teams really killed them.
Grats to Bama fans (I guess...), I saw they managed to stick it out.

I hope they tied to the back of the bus and dragged him back to Auburn. I won't stop there. He'd be sharing company w/ half of the recievers that dropped pass after pass as well. There is NO excuse for what I witnessed. BUT.... I will say hats off to the offensive and defensive lines that opened up the holes for Kenny to tote the mail!!!!! WARRRRRR Eagle to that man! Cox looked cool as a cucumber back there. He is gonna be something spectacular. I will give credit to LSU. It was the best game they've played so far. I believe firmly that bama will come to Jordan-Hare undefeated although they will go home with their tails tucked IF Auburn can pull a "complete" game together. My 2cents worth.

Based on what I saw this weekend from Alabama and Auburn, Alabama will be lucky to beat LSU or Auburn, and could possibly lose to Mississippi State. That offense is offensive to watch.
Auburn played a pretty good game, but dropped too many passes and missed too many FGs to win. LSU missed some opportunities also, so I can't say Auburn really played a better game than LSU. I can say that if Auburn played Alabama on October 22, the streak would be at 4 games.

Really? Remind me of the UGA vs Arky score and the UGA vs South Carolina score. Then I'll remind you of Auburn and Alabama's scores against those teams.

Went to UGA undergrad and grad school and now I am an Auburn wife and fan.
Auburn fans have better manners. Believe me, I know.

Of course they do. Players have better manners too. I didn't see any Auburn jerseys or helmets for sale on Ebay after their undefeated season last year, unlike the Dawgs selling their team paraphernalia afer one sugar bowl appearance a few years back.

When my husband and I were dating, 23 years ago, we went to the Georgia/Auburn game in Athens. I was a Georgia fan then and the way the fans acted, I was so embarressed. Maybe we were engaged, but right then and there, it turned my stomach and I thought, "I could be an Auburn fan." I had only seen the behavior through Georgia eyes before, of course. But my eyes were OPENED to the Auburn light.!!!! It may seem I wasn't a diehard UGA fan, but I still have friends who hold very important official titles at UGA and they aren't upset with me, I don't think. (But I never told them about the unmannerly fans...they think it's all because I married an Auburn Tiger!)

At UGA, the Mascot is called a Turkey Buzzard, not a war eagle. In the old days they were called the Tigers, sometime the Plainesmen.,never could decide what they were, kinda like misfits. The DOGS have mostly been called the DOGS. But in the later years they are called the DAWGS, why I do not know, maybe the spelling has got screwed up,ask Sally. But as most Auburn fans think a Tiger can beat a Bulldog any day,but at UGA,we tease the Dogs with Cat meat and let them eat when they play the KITTIY CATS who pretend to be Tigers.

I think it was Clisby Clarke who I worked with (and house sat his pets) who came up with the song from Larry Munson' Hunker down idea called, "Hunker down, hairy dawgs...." right? Surely you remember Clisby Clarke's song?

Of course you didn't see any Aubie stuff for sale. With Big Jimmy Raines handing out envelopes after every game, there's plenty of spending money down in the lovliest village.

You mean like last night....still saving the good stuff?
Don't get me wrong. I don't mean to offend, Jim, because you never know with a bunch of 19+ year olds what is going to happen. They are children. We should all not be so cocky when it's left up to that age group.
And how about the Gamecocks' kicker? Even he can kick a 49er under pressure.
For all you UGA fans - I taught Kevin Butler in high school.

Cute...but didn't the Georgia kicker surpass Kevin's record? I thought I heard that on TV.
Who would have thought...what was Kevin's longest? Almost 60 yards? He started out as a soccer player. HIs brother did go on to get scholarship in soccer to - I think - Stetson in Florida. Not sure of the name...but a smaller school in Florida. He was a good soccer player as well. I don't know when Kevin crossed over...I think around 10th grade.

It's not that hard, JIM, though I can see why you'd be confused, what with your sub-normal IQ and all. But I'll explain it, and I'll use small words that even you might be able to understand:
Auburn's nickname is the Tiger; they are the "Tigers" and have never been anything else.
"War Eagle" is a battle cry; it is just like Alabama's "Roll Tide." But battle cries and nicknames are not one and the same.
The school newspaper is called the Auburn Plainsman.
As far as Auburn is concerned, Tiger is the only correct word to use when naming the Auburn mascot. Of course, Auburn has no control over the uninformed sportswriters or ignorant half-wits such as yourself who don't have the mental capacity to distinguish the differences between nicknames, battle cries and newspapers.
In short, JIM, though moronic drunks like you enjoy poking fun at Auburn because, in your own slurred words "Auburn can't decide what they're called," the truth is that everyone at Auburn knows the facts; it's only stupid people who can't figure it out.
(It's just for fun that the name of Auburn's eagle is "Tiger;" that probably confuses you even in those rare moments that you're sober, doesn't it?)
