I'm about to clean out an old boathouse and I'm sure there are snakes in it. Does anyone know a way (without burning it down) to run the snakes off prior to my cleaning? Seems like if you used a smoke bomb that would do it, however I have never tried.
Suggestions appreciated.

Jump in the water and splash like a madman!.....I know what you are thinking, but hey..... it will work (ok, maybe you'll suffer a bite or two if they are cottonmouths)

if you don't like that idea, a few waterproof firecrackers seems to send them running.

Go to your local feed and seed store and buy a 40 lb bag of sulfur and generously put it out. Snakes cant stand it and will move out.

Get in touch with BAJ; he seems to actually enjoy stuff like that. I think you can reach him with the link below.

Let us know how it all went AFTER the fact; until then, tell me where you live so I can be sure to not visit. :-)

If he comes my way, let me know.....things have been pretty quiet around my dock because my father-in-law has terminal cancer and my wife is spending most of her time in B'ham and I've been there when possible.
