Does anyone know if any of the lake governing bodies have ever considered digging out the danger spots (chucks area) when the level is down?

Why? That takes all of the fun out of boating with the lake down.

I've thought the same thing with the dirt bar in our slough.

Somebody could get a ton of dirt.
