I saw that too. I'm not there right now.
Curious thing. We've had a bunch of rain the last few days and the water has actually gone down, until today at least. Wonder how that happens?
I started to post something about that over the weekend but didn;t wanna get labled a trouble maker.
Peace, <>< TC

I will take that title if its ok with everyone.......
when you look at their website you will see the turbine releases listed on the right side.......When it has been several days without rain it shows maybe 1 turbine release per day and the level stays close to the same.
Over the past week when we have had a good amount of rain I have noticed 2 turbine releases per hour for like 3 hours in a row. And already the level has dropped below 462 again.....with 3 "units" released at 4pm and 5pm.
Also 4 "units are scheduled to be released in the morning at 6-7 and 9am. all in anticipation of rain forecast for tonight.
One mans opinion is they should let the lake fill up by taking advantage of the rainfall over the past few weeks and over the next few weeks.
I started to stop by the Corp of Engineers table at the boat show but decided i was in too good of a mood to have smoke blown in from behind......

I hear ya.
How was the boat show? I wanted to go but found plenty to do. Then my wife reminded me that I have a broke boat, a broke sea doo and a paid off platnium card. Going to the show would probably have been dangerous. She was right of course. I'm kinda in the mood for a new sea doo. But I sure do like that paid off card!
Peace, <>< TC

Boat show was good, I saw a Corvette boat for $100,000 "sold", I did not know that Pontoon boats cost $70,000. Other than that I am glad I left my cash, Checkbook and creditcards at home.
Last year we went to buy 1 seadoo and my wife made me buy 2 (made me).
I miss Summer sooooobad, RatherBeSkiing makes me wish I had numb toes every weekend.

Use the first link to get to the alabama power website and then click on "LAKES" here>>>>>>> Safety, Education, Recreation Call Before You Dig Learning Power Lakes Recipes
Then still follow the lake information to "Lake Information" Then " Lake Conditions"
Use the drop down to select "Logan"
Yes it gives the release times and "Unit Amounts"
