I know Chris has already been out there. But the first skier of the season has now been sighted at Stemly Bridge. I can't wait to get out there myself. Since I don't have anything to ski behind, it's just sit on the pier and watch but thats OK too.

Lots of pollen on the water today too. That probably explains why I have been in the bed since Thursday night with a fever and my head trying to explode. But I'm feeling much better now.

Were you by chance sitting on your pier? If it was yesterday - that was me...and I've been out there all winter long. Haven't missed many weekends. If I'm just going to ski I stay around Rivers Edge. If I'm going to spend the night I go our house near the cliffs.

The water has warmed up some. It was pretty choppy, the stretch near Stemley Bridge in particular. The calmest spot was in front of Lincoln Harbor. I kind of hate to see it warm up (selfish me) 'cause I've pretty much had the lake to myself all winter (except for bass boats). That's been pretty nice.

No, sadly, I wasn't on the pier. I was sitting on the bed looking at the beautiful lake and cursing the pollen floating on it that I was blaming for my illness, when you went by.

Thanks. I am feeling much better. I even got the boat out of the water today so I could clean it up and get it ready for the season. The pontoons are looking pretty rough but hopefully will be much better by the end of the week.

I'm just south of the bridge on the low rent side.
