just got a letter from the department of conservation and natural resources asking me to renew my fishing license so alabama will get it's share of VITAL federal funding for the management of our outdoor resources. Sounds like not as many people are getting fishing license's anymore, wonder where they will make up the falling permit sales? raise they permit cost? take heed, boat permits are next, even thought they have been raised this year anyway, look for an increase for next year too. Hurting for public money is not a good sign!!!!!!

I bought my annual Fishing licence ( $46) last week as I always do to help out the state although I live in GA. Unfortunately in all these years, I've never been asked to show it. If the wardens were out checkin for illegal fishing, more people would buy them.
