Whats that thing called these guys are sking on. Looks like a ski with a chair but it has a lower hydofoil or something that rises you up out of the water? Dude that thing looks like a blast! One of the guys was even doing flips on it.
Quiet around here or is it just me?

Thats on logan martin lake too. Im not sure if its the same guy or not, but I have seen the one your talking about, doing flips and everything. I wonder how hard it would be to do, not the flips, but just learning how to ride the thing. Ratherbeskiing , tell us about it .

There is a classified add on this site under Misc. that has one of these for sale. He calls it a Sky Ski and wants $850.

Wow. It looks like fun. But not that much fun.
But then I remember my Dad's reaction when I spend $200 for a slalom ski many many years ago. And we didn't even have a boat at that time.
The only difference between men and boys is the price of their toys.

It's a hydrofoil. I've added a link to a trailer from a DVD called The Secret Spot. Great video of all kinds of water sports with an awesome soundtrack. The DVD has a whole segment on hydrofoiling. The trailer has a few short clips.
I watch the trailer in the dead of winter when I'm feeling lazy and don't want to work out. Gets me fired up to ski.

I plan to be on the pier after lunch tomorrow. Anybody gonna be around? Might even cruise a little. Just filled up the gas cans.

I plan on being out Sat and Sun to make up for last weekend. We were out about 30 minutes last Sunday when the storms came. I shouldnt have said plan to, everytime I plan, something comes up.

Yeah, they call it a air chair takes a lot of balance though and I had a buddy that hurt his back trying a flip.
