Stopped in the Dadeville Farmer's Market Friday afternoon and picked up a half bushel of oysters and a pound of large shrimp. The oysters were medium to large and were GREAT!!!!! I steamed the oysters on the grill (along with some of the shrimp) Friday evening. Then I served the oysters shucked and on the half shell Saturday for lunch. I steamed the remainder of the shrimp and we had a wonderful lunch on the deck under the big water oak tree. If you enjoy oysters and shrimp, I highly recommend the Dadeville Farmer's Market and NO GoneFishing, I do not have an paid interest in the Dadeville Farmer's Market. I just like oysters and shrimp at a great price.

Hwy 49 south of Dadeville across the street from the Alabama Power office on 49. If you're looking for great seafood, steaks and produce, that's the place to shop.
