Hi ! I'm new here...Im looking to retire soon and move south near my son. Leaving the snow and the cold of Connecticut !! Have my heart set on lakefront property and Hartwell is close by ! most of the real estate i'm looking at has a dock to park your car ! Not your boat ! Should I be concerned about the present level ? Will it come back up ? How long has it been down and is the up and down level normal ? Looks as if a lot of residents are dealing with this problem ! Can anyone give me some answeres about this ? Thank you so mch in advance....looks like a great area to retire in !!

Don’t do it. You will be frustrated to no end. The Corp will tell you one thing, but do the opposite. Listen to the neighbors who really know what is going on. I don’t trust the corp
. Lake drained the day we moved into our home. There’s been plenty of rain, but no affect on lake level. I am being told we likely will not have rain next summer, 2018.
