Took the pontoon boat out with my white lab Annie for some lake time. Trolled early and caught a few, at noon ran across several fish in 50 feet of watersuspended at 25-30 feet. The verticle jigging with a spoon payed off again. Caught 7 between noon and 1 pm and called it a day

I noticed the same today. Water temp 58. Beautiful day out there. Caught spots only. Still looking to find some stripers.

Deckhand, were those spots or stripers? I makes some fish last week in 50' of water that were suspended around 30'.

Spots, fish were in 25-30 feet, water dept was 50+.  The fish marks you saw at 50 feet were probably stripers,  If stripers seem to be in random deep water or in a river channel, they are probably traveling, if near some type of structure, they are probably staged up for a while and are feeding.

Thanks. These fish looked like spaghetti on the screen and move up from near the bottom at 50' to the bait ball at 25' and back down. I didn't have enough time to try to stay on them.

I really need to get a real boat with a good depthfinder so I can see how these reports translate to the upper end of Little kowaliga where there is no 50' water.
