I find it very interesting that Austin could be in the Walter-Reed ICU (by some accounts, unconsious) for a week and no one bothered to tell the WH. They claim that Deputy Secretary of Derense was put in charge, but I read in another article that she was actually on vacation in Pueto-Rico.  If Austin was still in the military that would be unaccptable and he would likely face punishment, but to be the top guy in our national defense and to be unavailable is unthinkable.  So who really is running the Pentagon?  The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs?  The Deputy Secretary of Defense for Policy? 

It's a good indication of how loosely things are being run.  You've got Blinken running hither and yon, and accomplishing nothing; And Austin passed out in the hospital.  And we have budding wars in the Middle East, on the Korean Pennisula, and of course, how could we forget Ukraine?  

Who the heck is running things?
