The Landing at Harbor Pointe at Restful Cove is under construction and, supposedly, opening this summer.

Gotta figure this will just about kill Copper's Grill . . . and Bluffs Daiquiri Bar.

Also, Castelluccio Lake Martin opened back in November. I've had a very good dinner there. Looking forward to trying their Sunday brunch!

eating out isnt in our budget anymore--a certain restraurent has raised lunch prices from $8.95 to around $14.95--BUT Joe B. says we're all doing well -maybe some are but I've had increases in property, home & auto insurance, cable, internet, water, garbage- not to mention a trip to grocery-- I truly dont see how a couple with 2-4 kids do it-- a direct reflection is the slowdown in home  & lot sales here at lake

Never tried Castelluccio at the Lake, but the one in downtown Alex City is over-rated as far as I'm concerned.  Very pedestrian menu of stuff I can cook better at home.    Maybe it tastes better with a lake view.

I am with you Hound.  We ate at the AC location and was totally unimpressed.  I have had the same meal out of the frozen fooods section.  The help was snooty and uppity. The bosses Raviioli was dry and we had to ask for more sauce.  It was a one and done for me.
