Will be interesting to see if this changes anything. I know for my last two home sales and purchases is I negotiated with my broker to lower my commissions. Best part was on my home sale where I got them to agree to a max of 4% (1% to my broker, 3% to buyers agent if there was one, otherwise my broker gets the 4% if they brought the buyer). On the purchase I really had no control so they got whatever the seller agreed to, which of course I paid for.
What I was surprised by was this killed Zillow's stock but helped other real estate stocks. Not sure I understand why.
